Welcome to the Home Page of Childwold Memorial Presbyterian Church. We worship year-round at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.  We worship in person and online for the months of June, July, August and September. From October to May we worship online only. Can you imagine trying to heat a building built in 1893? Most of the congregation left the beautiful Adirondacks for warmer climates in that time but we are continuing to meet. If you would like to join us you can contact us via our email address of childwoldmem@gmail.com. From there you will receive a link to join zoom with us on Sunday mornings.

So, what are we about as a community. We are about learning how to live life as we wrestle with scripture, look at the life of Jesus as a model and allow the Spirit to mysteriously touch each of our life stories as a guide. We need each other along the way. We pray for one another in our joys and concerns on Sunday mornings.

Our worship involves music, readings and thoughts from all different sources. We are engaged with God who has chosen to love the whole world and who has created us as caretakers of the world in which we live. We do not tell people what to believe but just ask that they come and journey, trusting that the Spirit of God will speak to their hearts, as the Spirit has done for each of us.
